SINOPSIS
Amanda (46), una mujer complaciente y solitaria, vive con su hijo Daniel (16) en la cordillera sureña de Chile. Octavio (16), un amigo de Daniel, es herido accidentalmente mientras cazan en el bosque. Amanda se hace cargo de las sesiones de curación, desarrollando un vínculo íntimo con el niño. Descubren que el contacto con la herida produce un placer adictivo.
// Amanda (46), a complaisant and lonely woman, lives with her son Daniel (16) in the mountains of southern Chile. Octavio (16), a Daniel’s friend, is accidentally injured while hunting in the forest. Amanda takes over the healing sessions, discovering that the contact with the wound produces an addictive pleasure.
BIO-FILMOGRAFÍA
Thomas es director, guionista y director de fotografía. Dirigió y escribió el cortometraje "Fiebre Austral", que no solo tuvo su premiere mundial en la competencia oficial de La Biennale di Venezia 76, sino que también obtuvo una mención especial en la competencia NEST del Festival de San Sebastián y participó en la selección oficial del Festival de Cine de Toronto (TIFF) 2019. Fue director de fotografía de “El Verano Del León Eléctrico”, cortometraje ganador de la Cinéfondation del Festival de Cannes 2018 y ganador del premio Panavisión en la competencia NEST del festival de San Sebastián 2018. En la edición 2019 del Festival de cine de Guadalajara, Thomas fue parte del jurado de la competencia de largometrajes mexicanos.
// Thomas is a filmmaker, scriptwriter and cinematographer based in Santiago, Chile. He directed and wrote the short film "Fiebre Austral" (Austral Fever), which has its world premiere in the official competition at La Biennale di Venezia 76. It also received a Special Mention of the Jury in the 67 San Sebastián International Film Festival and participated in the official selection at the Toronto International Film Festival 2019. He was the cinematographer in the short film "The Summer of the Electric Lion", which won first prize in Cinefondatión at the Cannes Film Festival 2018 and the Panavision award in the Nest Film Students competition at the 66 San Sebastián International Film Festival.
